The World Women Day 2019 was observed by the Hospital, in association with Kudumbasree Mission, Pathanmthitta District, and Adoor Obstetrics and Gynaecological Society, by organising cancer screening and awareness class for the tribal women at Moozhiyar, on 08 March 2019. Films on Mestrual Hygeiene and Antinatal Care were shown in the programme. Dr B Prasannakumari, Senior Consultant Gynaecologist of the Hospital and President Adoor O&G Society and Dr Nirpin Cleetus led the camp.
