The Lifeline Hospital’s Comprehensive Surgical Care for Children of all Ages

The Division of Paediatric Surgery at Lifeline has 20 beds, including 5 in the intensive care unit and 5 in the Neonatal Unit. Children of all ages, from the unborn child to premature and newborn infants to 12-year-olds, can receive a full range of surgical treatment both in-patiently and out-patiently.

At Lifeline Hospital, we understand that hearing that your child needs surgery may be among the most terrifying things a parent has ever experienced. We recognize that our children need sensitive and particular attention because they are not adults when it comes to surgery. We also support parents who are expecting a child who has already been identified as having a birth defect that may need surgery.
